West Maui
Along the shores of Ka‘anapali are at least a dozen beachfront resorts. In most, there are outstanding restaurants and concierges to help with bookings for theater tickets, ocean activities, helicopter tours and Interisland trips. In Ka‘anapali timeshares and condos are sparsely scattered among the resorts. Further north, in the communities of Honokowai, Napili and Kapalua timeshares and vacation-rental condos are more common. There are also some fine hotels and resorts, only slightly quieter than those in Ka‘anapali. Lahaina, to the south, has hotels too, within Maui’s most significant historic district.
